On the eve of Pendersville's 100th anniversary, a young girl Claire appears in the local cemetery not to mourn a loved one, but as a restless soul - a spirit that cannot cross over to eternal rest until their lingering ties to the earth have been resolved. Through the help of the other spirits in the cemetery who are searching for their own peace, Claire is able to reconcile with her past and find her way to heaven. Inspired by Edgar Lee Masters's Spoon River Anthology, this masterful ensemble-based play explores the people behind the gravestones.
