"The Legend of the Poinsettia" Welcomes New Director & Postpones Performance
Diane Traube joins "The Legend of the Poinsettia," making her directorial debut with The Shadow Players! Traube has been a member of the company since 2014 and has been seen onstage in productions such as "Women at the Cross" and "The Last Geese of Autumn." She brings with her great insight and experience from a history of producing and directing community theatre. With Executive Director Erin Perkins set to pen the script, "The Legend of the Poinsettia" will mark the first all-female Playwright/Director pairing in the history of the company.
The Shadow Players will be postponing the 2016 Winter Production, "The Legend of the Poinsettia," which was originally set to run December 12th - 14th. The new dates for the production will be January 3rd - 5th, 2017 at 7pm. Although performances will begin in the new year, "The Legend of the Poinsettia" will remain the Winter production for the 2016 Season and performed in conjunction with the Religious Education program of St. Francis de Sales Church.
